What Would Blanka Do?

Sometimes you just gotta ask yourself: What Would Blanka Do?

"Eventually, my nickname at school became Blanka. When I got into real fights, I even tried using some of his moves. They never worked," said Gutierrez. "I often ask myself, what would Blanka do? I even met my wife because of this game. So yes, I owe my whole life to Blanka."

Blanka in Street Fighter II

I'm thinking that electricity move might be particularly difficult to pull off.

Hey Jeff,
SF II was my favourite games when I was a kid :) How did you generate that screenshot, do you have a PC version of the game?

I once got a PC version of SF II, but I was used to playing SF II turbo and never really enjoyed the slow pace of the PC version.

And guess what I used tp play with Blanka mostly and shock Ryu and Ken's ass to hell :D :D

Street Fighter II is available on the PC, along with thousands of other arcade games, via MAME emulation:

http://www.mame.net/

ROM sets can be obtained from here:

Only for arcade games you actually OWN.. naturally.. ;)

It's not widely known, but I am in fact married to Chun-Li. I try to avoid arguments with her..

Hey I bet when you got into real fights that electric move was very effective. Haha, you must have been picked on pretty bad. It's cool though I'm sure a lot of people based their life upon fictional characters... they were usually taken to school in the short bus.

Rick Nipple on May 6, 2007 03:47 PM

Hey I road in the small blue bus, occasionally red.... and i based my life on the Wrestler Sting. I usta have people call me Stanley or Sting, i wouldn't respond to anyone who wouldn't do so. So I understand how Jeff feels.

"I looked above to the gods and when you fall below the skeletons of the warriors past, the powers of the warriors will become the 8th wonder of the world."

"Now you must deal with the creation of all the unpleasantries in the entire universe, as i feel the injection from the gods above; I only know that the ultimate warrior is totally outta control"

"Come on in where nightmares are the best part of my day!"

--I usually don't even end up having to fight people I just usually say stuff the Ultimate Warrior said and people get scared.
