The free stickers were all mailed Monday. Here's a quick statistical breakdown, courtesy of my wife:
| United States | 320 |
| Canada | 49 |
38 of the 50 states were represented. The states with zero sticker requests were: HI, KS, LA, MS, MT, ND, NM, RI, SD, VT, WV and WY. Here are the top 10 states:
| CA | 32 |
| TX | 26 |
| WA | 16 |
| FL | 16 |
| PA | 13 |
| MA | 13 |
| CO | 13 |
| IL | 13 |
| OH | 12 |
| MN | 12 |
And here's a similar breakdown for Canadian provinces:
| Ontario | 15 |
| Alberta | 11 |
| Quebec | 10 |
| British Columbia | 9 |
| New Brunswick | 1 |
| Manitoba | 1 |
| Nova Scotia | 1 |
| Saskatchewan | 1 |
Contrary to popular belief, I am fully aware that the United States isn't the only country in the world. Here's a breakdown of the international orders to date:
| United Kingdom | 7 |
| Australia | 3 |
| Germany | 2 |
| Finland | 1 |
| Brazil | 1 |
| Switzerland | 1 |
| Sweden | 2 |
| Belgium | 1 |
| Denmark | 1 |
| New Zealand | 1 |
| Latvia | 1 |
Although the free sticker offer is over, you can still buy a set of 4 stickers for $3. They're usually mailed the same day.
| Will Sullivan's is appropriately positioned next to a real coding horror. | Bryan Likes created the infinite cat project recursive version. |
|
|
| Here's one from my fellow developers at Vertigo. If you work with me, I'll give you a sticker. But only grudgingly. | Sam Livingston-Gray put his to good use covering up that hideous Apple logo. Bonus points for real-life simulation! |
|
|
| Matt Blodgett evidently doesn't own a digital camera. But he does have mad MS Paint skills. | My old friend Geoff Dalgas created this animated version of the sticker. |
|
|
| Brian Stephens works on Titan Quest, which doesn't play like a Coding Horror. | Bryan Kramer sighted his at a Jacksonville, Florida Code Camp during a marathon not-for-profit coding session. |
|
|
| David Howell gave his sticker a place of honor in his cube. | Nathan Birkes used his sticker to pimp out his Grand Prix. Stylin'! |
|
|
| Steve Makofsky works at Microsoft. Guess what part of Vista he worked on? | Martin Marconcini is going for sticker symmetry on his Ford Focus. |

If you have any Coding Horror sticker or T-shirt "action shots", email them to me, and I'll post them here.
I received mine yesterday. Many thanks!
Tom on August 25, 2006 11:51 AMVery excited, but not sure what to do with it.
I may give it to my teenage son, as it may be considered different enough to trancend his collection of Volcom, DC, etc. stickers and he will be the envy of his friends.
Thank you!
Hmm, I KNEW I forgot to do something... (from SD here)
Chad on August 25, 2006 12:06 PMit's going on my car for sure.

Justin on August 25, 2006 1:39 PMHoly crap, I thought for sure that there would be other Saskatchewanites... Saskatchewanians... people from Saskatchewan who would have ordered it besides me. The mail can be slow where I live, so I haven't seen them yet - maybe next week. Thanks!
cowboy_k on August 25, 2006 1:58 PMWoohoo,
Lots of Colorado. Mine got here today. Thanks a lot Jeff!
Gustavo Duarte on August 25, 2006 4:24 PMI got mine today, and I was planning on sticking it on my laptop, but my yellow Wumpus sticker clashes with silver, so I don't know where to put that one, yet. Thanks for the stickers! I can use them to frighten my roommate who doesn't know what a wumpus is. :)
A Different Tom on August 25, 2006 7:56 PMYea! They showed up today. And I am the only person in all of Switzerland with them!

nbirkes on August 28, 2006 8:05 AMCuriously, my short term memory loss kicked in and when I got it in the mail, I wondered (albeit shortly) if it were from that crazy chick I no longer talk to in Oakland. And considered it (briefly) a terrorist attack.
And then I looked through the envelope and realized it was my sticker. Go team! Hooray. I needn't call the bomb squad.

TJ on August 28, 2006 9:12 AMI got mine in the mail on Friday, and I was worried about opening the envelope. It looked offical, and usually when I get a letter like that it's just bad news that I don't want to know about.
Obviously, I was quite pleased when I opened it to find my Coding Horror sticker. It went right on my laptop.
Super Cool!
Ryan on August 28, 2006 12:50 PMThanks, I received mine on saturday.
Karthik.G on August 29, 2006 9:12 AMI got mine in the mail yesterday. It's a really nice sticker.

Thanks! Got mine yesterday, and it's prompty covered up the Dell logo on my laptop. The Coding Horror one is way more cool :-)
M. on August 30, 2006 4:53 PMYeah, the envelope was slightly scary.
I am very happy about the sticker, though :)
